GScan team officially launches Series A funding round

GScan, a pioneer in deeptech infrastructure inspection technology, has officially launched its Series A funding round, seeking €7.5 million to scale commercial operations, expand its sales team, and enter new global markets.

The announcement comes after several major commercial milestones for the company. Following years of rigorous research, development, and validation, GScan has transitioned its proprietary Muon Flux Tomography (MFT) technology from the laboratory to real-world deployments on critical global infrastructure.

Solving the Aging Infrastructure Crisis

Traditional bridge and tunnel inspections are often limited to surface-level assessments. GScan’s AI-driven MFT technology disrupts this paradigm by detecting structural issues and defects meters deep within concrete and steel. By capturing hidden issues before they escalate into catastrophic failures, GScan enables asset managers to significantly extend the lifespan of critical infrastructure while optimising maintenance costs.

The company’s non-destructive technology is already actively deployed on in-service bridges and tunnels worldwide, stretching from the UK and Europe to Japan.

Strong Financial Momentum and Global Backing

GScan’s commercial traction is reflected in its rapid financial and operational growth:

  • Surging Revenue: After generating €1.6 million in revenue in 2025, GScan is on track to double its financial performance in 2026, with 50% of this year's target revenue already fully secured.

  • Non-Dilutive & IP Strength: The company’s deeptech innovation is backed by €12 million in government and European Union grant funding, alongside a robust intellectual property portfolio of 10 granted patents across three distinct patent families in the UK, Europe, Japan, the US, and China.

  • Global Trust: GScan’s growing portfolio of elite partners and clients includes public authorities and tier-one infrastructure giants such as National Highways, AtkinsRéalis, the Estonian Transport Administration, Rijkswaterstaat, Heijmans, VSL International, and a leading construction firm in Japan.

"Making it as a deeptech company and successfully moving from the lab to global infrastructure projects is notoriously difficult," stated CEO Marek Helm. "GScan is now making major waves in the industry, delivering a true deeptech solution in the age of AI and solving structural challenges that were previously impossible."

Looking Ahead

Supported by its current investors and Enterprise Estonia (EIS), GScan is ready to accelerate its international expansion. Company representatives will be presenting the transformative power of Muon Flux Tomography to investors and industry leaders at upcoming European deeptech events, including Deep Tech Momentum, Latitude59, and Hello Tomorrow.

For partnership or investment inquiries regarding the €7.5M Series A round, interested parties are invited to contact GScan directly or reach out to CEO Marek Helm.

About GScan

GScan is a deeptech company specialising in Muon Flux Tomography (MFT) combined with advanced AI for accurate, non-destructive analysis of assets such as bridges and tunnels. GScan’s MFT system provides unparalleled insights into the health of structures through 3D imaging up to several meters deep.
